Mary MacKillop College encourages all students to participate actively in physical education and / or sports activities. In addition to Physical Education classes a range of sporting activities are provided to cater for all levels of participation.

The benefits of participation in physical activity include assisting with maximising children’s learning as well as increasing physical, social and mental health which is likely to extend into adolescence and adult life.”  (Dr Karen Martin, PhD, Brain boost: Sport and physical activity enhance children’s learning, School of Population Health, The University of Western Australia, May 2010)
