PACE - Parent & Community Engagement

Parent and Community Engagement (PACE) is an overarching initiative aimed at fostering strong relationships between parents, the community, and the College. PACE encompasses various activities, including educational sharing sessions and College events, all designed to enhance parent engagement and support student success.

However, within PACE, there is a distinct group known as the PACE Social Committee. This committee is a parent-led body that focuses on organizing social and connecting events. While PACE covers a broad range of sharing school initiatives, the PACE Social Committee specifically coordinates events that bring parents together in a more informal, social setting.

Key Differences:

  • PACE (Parent and Community Engagement):

    1. Scope: Broad, including educational sessions regarding College initiatives and goals.

    1. Purpose: To enhance parent involvement in educational and College-related matters.

    1. Coordination: Managed by the College.

  • PACE Social Committee:

    1. Scope: Focused on social and connecting events for parents.

    1. Purpose: To foster community and support the broader PACE initiatives through social interactions.

    1. Coordination: Managed by the parent body.

By understanding these distinctions, parents can better navigate the events and activities they wish to participate in. Whether you're interested in educational sessions or simply want to connect with other parents, knowing who to contact and what to expect will streamline your involvement and ensure you get the most out of your engagement with the College community.

We always welcome volunteers and input from parents, so feel free to reach out to the appropriate group based on your interests.  Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive community for our children.
